New Projects and a Browser Change
May 2025
As the academic year is slowly coming to an end, I finished my last exams and found some time to work on new projects.
I updated my portfolio a little and started a new project called Gately. This is actually my second try at an idea I first had in high school after learning about logic gates and binary operations. Back then, I made it in Python using Pygame. I stopped because it was harder than I expected. Since then, I always wanted to come back to it. Now, I got motivated again when I found the React Flow library. It made things much easier, and I’m excited to keep building it.
This month, I also made a big change by switching from my favorite browser, Arc. I really liked using Arc, and it changed how I think about browsers. But since it stopped being maintained, I started looking for something else. I heard a lot about Zen but was unsure because I tried it when it was new and it felt unstable. When I tried it again recently, it felt more familiar, more like Arc. It still misses many features, but since it is open source and has a strong community, that is a big plus for me.
Finally, I want to share a great and inspiring talk between Lex Fridman and The Primeagen.
