Writing in the Sunlight
April 2025
This month was full of work and studying, but I can slowly start to feel the holiday vibe creeping in. As I’m writing this, the sun is already shining at me through the windows.
I originally started this post to talk about AI, but it grew so large that I figured it deserved its own dedicated blog post. To keep it short for now, this month felt like a non-stop stream of vibe coders launching new apps and services every minute (with varying levels of quality, to say the least). This made me think more about the use of AI in our coding world.
On a more personal note, I started using Obsidian, and it finally feels like I’ve found a solid note-taking setup. I used to rely on Notion, but Obsidian’s speed, responsiveness, and the fact that everything is stored locally (and truly belongs to me) makes a big difference. Thanks to this tool, I’ve started diving deeper into note-taking and creating more and more notes. At first, it’s not the most fun thing to do, but learning how to express your thoughts through writing is a really important skill, especially now, when we outsource so much of it to AI.
